Purchase at MMVS or email for online orders!

You may opt to purchase a professional video of your performance, shot and edited with two cameras ($69) or a single camera ($49). This service is offered at more than 50% Steve Walter’s videography rates. He has been filming our showcases for years (as well as providing photography, logo, and web site design for MMVS and our artists). Please note that these videos are emailed to you via dropbox or another mail drop service. You will not be provided with a DVD. The above link goes DIRECTLY to Steve Walter Photo. MMVS does not receive payment for these videos in any way. This is just a service Steve offers to MMVS students at a discount, out of love and appreciation for your talent, hard work, and positive attitudes 🙂
IMPORTANT! If you are singing with a partner you may split the cost of the video between you! There are extra fields on the order form so that you can have Steve send the video to more than one of you. Just work it out through your coach and the other performers to figure out how to split the payment.

You are invited to congratulate your favorite MMVSer or advertise your business by placing an ad or a “shout out” in our program! Ads must be received by December 5th for inclusion in the program.

* What’s the difference between a General Admission Ticket and a Performer Ticket?
MMVS artists who are performing receive a discount on their tickets as well as assigned, VIP seating at the show. If you are not performing, please order a General Admission Ticket for you and your guests.

*  Is there an online ticket option?
Sure, just send us an email We are happy to take your ticket order using one of our favorite payment apps and we can either email you your tickets or we will have your tickets waiting for you at the door!

* Are there assigned seats?
Performers will have assigned seats, but all general admission tickets are open seating.

* If the parking lot to Stage One is full, where do I park?
There is public parking and street parking in downtown Fairfield but be sure to read the signs because the rules vary from spot to spot. I recommend getting to the theatre 15-20 minutes early so you have time to look around if need be.

* What should performers wear?
This is a semi-formal celebration so feel free to dress up! If you’re performing with someone else, try to coordinate the same level of “dressy.” If you’re planning to wear heels, practice your performance in them beforehand so there are no surprises on stage 🙂

*What time do we need to get there?
Please arrive by 1pm to get your photo taken, mingle, and find your seat.

* Do we have to stay for the whole show?
Yes. Of course. Yes. And you will love every minute of it. These shows are about cultivating a community of talented and passionate musicians who support each other. The point of having you all in one room is to share your work, your creative ideas and your energy with each other. It’s an inspirational day.

* Should I bring my own guitar/keyboard?
No thank you. We will have the stage set up with our instruments and would like you to use those. If you have any questions or concerns about that, let your coach know. You can practice on the same instruments we will be using at the show.

* Will performers have time to warm up or run through their performances before the show starts?
Come to the venue at 1pm warmed up and ready to go. Some performers choose to find a corner (or bathroom stall) to do some last minute warm-ups and shake out their nerves. Part of the showcase experience is about learning what works for you and learning what you need to do to feel comfortable and confident. Your coaches will all be there to support you, answer questions and help you feel comfortable. If you are unsure what your pre-show rituals should include, let’s talk about it and come up with a plan during your next lesson.
